Community Hubs Australia

In March of 2021, I was approached by a representative of Community Hubs Australia and asked to assist in editing a video that would be used to highlight the work this non-profit organization does. Community hubs are welcoming places where migrant and refugee families new to Australia, particularly mothers with young children, come to connect, share, and learn. Hubs bridge the gap between migrants and the wider community, they connect women with schools, with each other, and with organizations that can provide health, education, and settlement support.

What was initially intended to be a small scale project for one particular community hub at the Dandenong West Primary School in Dandenong, Australia has since been adopted and is being used by Community Hubs Australia as a marketing tool and resource for other community hubs in the country and is highlighted on Dandenong West Primary School’s website.
